Film Synopsis

At Avignon in the summer of 2005, Ana meets up with Uli, her Israeli half-brother.  Having learned of the death of her father, Ana makes the decision to return to Israel, a country she has not seen for twenty years, to look for the daughter that she left behind.  She is accompanied by Uli, who joins a special police unit that is charged with overseeing the evacuation of the Gaza strip.  Ana's daughter is one of the evacuees...
