Film Synopsis
Gino, a resident of Brussels for the past thirty years, runs a thriving pizzeria
which he bought with his wife Simone's savings. One day, unimaginable
wealth is in the offing when he learns that his insanely wealthy Italian
uncle has just died, leaving Gino a substantial part of his vast fortune.
Gino's uncle did not get rich by honest means, but by being one of his country's
most notorious gangster bosses. To prove himself a worthy heir to this
ruthless king of the Italian underworld Gino must demonstrate that he is
the don of the Parisian pizzerias. It seems to be an easy deception
to pull off. Gino gets in touch with a filmmaker and asks him to make
a documentary which presents him as the pizza world's most formidable crime
lord. The plan might have worked if it were not for the fact that Gino's
family have a sudden attack of scruples and refuse to go along with the fraud.
Gino doesn't help matters when he gets carried away with his role playing
and upsets the film crew. Still, there is one person that Gino manages
to convince with his ill-judged stunt - a real gangster who sees him as a
rival that must be eliminated...
