Film Synopsis
Noël's search for his long lost father, a former prisoner who
escaped from Cayenne thirty years ago, has taken him deep into the
forests of Guyana. He is first betrayed then helped by his
half-brother Mathieu, and has to contend with no end of natural
calamities, from extreme weather to deadly wildlife. Then he
finds he is up against an even greater threat, a hoard of adventurers
who believe that he has discovered a gold mine. It ends with a
pitiless struggle against a vile man named L'Équateur, the
owner of Cayenne Palace, who intends to destroy him via Alice, the woman he loves...
