Bébert et l'omnibus (1963)
Directed by Yves Robert

Comedy
aka: Bebert and the Train

Film Synopsis

Just before the long summer holidays get underway, the Martin family arrives in Paris for their annual shopping trip.  At the end of an exhausting day, just when the family is about to take the train back home, the youngest son Bébert goes missing.  His elder brother Tiennot offers to stay behind and look for him, promising to return by a later train.  The Martins depart, not realising that Tiennot has concocted this ruse with the purpose of meeting up with a pretty redhead he encountered earlier in the day.  The girl fails to keep the appointment, so the two boys decide to call it a day and go back home.  On the return journey, the train divides and Bébert and Tiennot end up going in different directions.  As Bébert creates more mayhem his brother frantically sets about looking for him...
