Film Synopsis
Alain, a bank employee, wants nothing more than to become a father, but his
wife Anna has higher priorities than starting a family just right now.
Her career as a concert pianist is starting to take off and she has no intention
of giving this up just to become a mere housewife. Anna's frequent
stays away from home put an increasing strain on the marriage and eventually
the couple agree to go their separate ways. Alain may have lost a wife
but he still has his pet dog Bambou to keep him company. The dog and
its master have difficulty hitting it off at first but it isn't long before
they are the best of friends. With some sadness, Alain realises that
Bambou is the only connection he still has with his absent wife...
