Film Synopsis

In a small Parisian café named Au pan coupé Jeanne is waiting for her boyfriend Jean.  When he turns up, Jean is in an agitated state, as he has made up his mind to leave Jeanne for a while and go and work in a youth camp.  A few weeks later, Jean is found dead in the suburbs of Lyon.  Jeanne has no knowledge of this and confides her intense feelings for him to a friend, Pierre.  To understand the reason for his son's death, Jean's father enlists the help of Pierre...
