Directed by Denis Amar

Comedy / Drama

Film Synopsis

It is 31st July, the day on which millions of people across France set off on their summer holidays.  But some of them will not reach their destination.  Many will end up in hospital, victims of road accidents.  Some will survive, others will not.  The carnage begins early in the morning.  A man, Jean-Claude Jaeger, is spared when his car crashes, but his wife is not.  In a daze, he wanders down the motorway, not knowing that his child is safe and that the police are looking for him.  Albert Pourrat couldn't wait for the brakes of his car to be repaired - if he had been more prudent his son would not have ended up being paralysed for the rest of his life...
