Film Synopsis

Frank Berndssen is a 40-something investment banker who thinks that life is just a question of careful planning. His faith in this belief is shaken when he encounters the successful novelist Patrizia Munz at Berlin Tegel airport. Frank is desperate to get to France by the next plane so that he can oversee a merger with a leading meat production chain. Ahead of him in the queue is Ms Munz, who is adamant that she will have a seat on the already overbooked plane so that she can reach her boyfriend Jean-Jacques, who is now lying in a Paris hospital after a car accident. Unfortunately, Patrizia appears to have forgotten her credit cards. Anxious to avoid missing his flight, Frank helps her out, but both are in for surprises when they reach their respective destinations...
