Roger Corman is an American film director, screenwriter, producer and actor. He was born in Detroit, Michigan, USA on 5th April 1926.

His best films as a film director include House of Usher (1960), The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), Pit and the Pendulum (1961), The Intruder (1962) and The Masque of the Red Death (1964), and whose best work as an actor include Day the World Ended (1955), Bernard L. Kowalski's Hot Car Girl (1958), Johanna Demetrakas's Some Nudity Required (1998), Wes Craven's Scream 3 (2000) and Joe Dante's comedy Looney Tunes: Back in Action (2003).
