Mickey Rooney is an American actor and producer whose birth name is Ninian Joseph Yule Jr.. He was born in Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA on 23rd September 1920.

His best films as an actor include Tom Buckingham's comedy Not to Be Trusted (1926), Kurt Neumann's My Pal, the King (1932), Clarence Brown's National Velvet (1944), Ralph Nelson's Requiem for a Heavyweight (1962) and Roger Steinmann's Paradise (2003), and whose best work as a film director include My True Story (1951) and The Bold and the Brave (1956).
