He was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on 8th January 1912 and died in Coral Gables, Florida, USA on 26th January 1992, aged 80.His best films as an actor include Michael Gordon's Cyrano de Bergerac (1950), Edward Dmytryk's The Caine Mutiny (1954), The Cockleshell Heroes (1955), Gene Feldman's Ingrid (1984) and J.
