Biography: life and films

Federico Fellini was an Italian film director and screenwriter. He was born in Rimini, Kingdom of Italy on 20th January 1920 and died in Rome, Italy on 31st October 1993, aged 73.

His best films as a screenwriter include Roberto Rossellini's Paisà (1946), Saint Francis, God's Jester (1950), La Strada (1954), Le Notti di Cabiria (1957) and (1963), and whose best work as a film director include La Strada (1954), Le Notti di Cabiria (1957), (1963), Giulietta degli spiriti (1965) and Amarcord (1973).

Federico Fellini scripted 50 films and directed 23 films.
