Carmen Maura is a Spanish actress. She was born in Madrid, Spain on 15th September 1945.

Her best films as an actor include Pedro Almodóvar's comedy-thriller Mujeres al borde de un ataque de nervios (1988), André Téchiné's Alice et Martin (1998), Martin Provost's Le Ventre de Juliette (2003), Volver (2006) and Mikael Buch's comedy Let My People Go! (2011).
