Film Synopsis

In the Pigalle district of Paris, Marie and Pauline are two seductive nightclub singers who have a habit of sending their audience into a frenzied delirium, especially when they perform their popular number Zig-Zag.  Both women dream of buying their own alpine chalet, and to make this dream come true they are more than willing to turn to prostitution, a far more lucrative career than the one they are known for. 

Unbeknown to her friend, Pauline has become mixed up in the kidnapping of the wife of one of her clients, a prominent government minister.  As the police prowl the area looking for clues, Marie is surprised by what Pauline has got herself into.  The two women have an ordeal ahead of them if they are to extricate themselves from the mess they now find themselves in...
