Summary
Owing to her natural affinity for horses, Gracieuse has the potential
to be a great rider, and she knows it. When her employer sells
the horse that has been promised to her, she is so disgusted that she
leaves her job and finds employment on another stud farm. The
farm’s owner, Joséphine de Silène, has no time for
sentiment and cynically exploits his trainer, Franz Mann, a one-time
champion whose experience is highly sought after by rich horse
riders. Gracieuse soon finds herself pitted against Mann as she
struggles to realise her dream, to obtain her own horse and prove her
worth as a rider...
