Summary
Yves Treguier is an orphan who has spent his entire life in children’s homes.  Now a rebellious adolescent, Yves goes on the run and heads for Paris, where he falls under the protection of Dédé la Glace, a sympathetic crook.  When Dédé falls ill, Yves finds work as a drugs trafficker so that he can pay his doctor’s bills.  One day, he meets a 17-year-old girl named Zette to whom he is instantly attracted.  When she becomes pregnant, Yves makes the decision to become an honest man.  But life still isn’t kind to Yves...
