Thriller
aka: Black for Remembrance

Film Synopsis

At the end of the school year, Chris, Caroline and their daughter Garance are having a pleasant time with Lucy, Caroline's best friend.  But then tragedy strikes.  Garance goes missing.  A short while later, she is found dead, tortured and barely recognisable.  Seventeen years later, Chris and Caroline have managed to rebuild their lives, but they are no longer together.  Caroline has married another man, David, a respected surgeon, and has two children.  Chris, by contrast, has never re-married.  He consoles himself with drink and a string of amorous liaisons.  When she visits her dead daughter's grave on the anniversary of her death, Caroline is appalled to find that it has been desecrated.  Not long after, a childhood friend of Garance is murdered at her home.  What ensues is a gruesome vendetta, orchestrated by the very last person Caroline would have suspected.. .
