Film Synopsis

In Burkina Faso, a young mother is expelled from her village when she refuses to reveal the identity of her son's father.  She must leave her baby with a foster family and he grows up in ignorance of his origins, acquiring the name Wendemi, a child of God.  When he reaches adulthood, Wendemi falls in love with a girl, but her father will not allow him to marry her because he knows nothing of Wendemi's origins.  This prompts Wendemi to embark on a search for his identity...
