Film Synopsis
Billy the Kid is a man on the run, having held up a stage coach and robbed
its passengers of their valuable possessions. Before he knows it, he
has Doc Holiday and bounty hunters galore on his tail as he makes his escape
across the desert. In his flight, Billy encounters a distressed young
woman and comes to her aid. Introducing herself as Ann, the woman claims
she has been left for dead after being attacked by a party of fierce Cherokee
Indians. Not sure whether he can trust her, Billy ties up the woman
and drags him behind him.
Billy then falls down a hole and Ann repays his earlier kindness by rescuing
him. As they continue their seemingly endless trek across the desert,
Billy begins to wonder why Ann is so keen to stay with him. Can it
be that she has fallen madly in love with him and cannot bear to be separated
from him? Poor Billy - the truth has eluded him completely. Ann
is in fact the widow of a man he has recently killed, and she is savouring
the moment when she can take her revenge against the outlaw...
