Film Synopsis

The Villardiers are to host a dinner party one Christmas Eve but it will not prove to be a straightforward affair.  Realising that there will be thirteen places around the table, the superstitious Madame Villardier does everything she can to reduce the number of guests, but in vain.  Her problems are compounded by the arrival of a South American adventuress, who intends taking revenge on her husband...
