Film Synopsis

Kamchatka, a bleak natural wilderness located in the eastmost region of Russia is the domain of the brown bear.  Across the seasons, bears of both sexes, young and fully grown, have their preoccupations.  The mother must feed and protect her cubs, who are too eager to explore the world around them, heedless of its dangers.  A bear on the threshold of adulthood must learn to fend for itself and the adult male must constantly defend its territory, by force if necessary...
