Film Synopsis

The feared head of a family of wealthy industrialists, the Varescots, is murdered by his young secretary when he tries to have his way with her.  To avoid a scandal, his grandson Frank agrees to take the blame for the killing.  Unfortunately, police superintendent Legrand is determined to get to the truth of the matter...
