After an absence of many years, Becky Del Paramo, a famous pop singer of the 1960s, returns to Madrid, to look for her daughter, Rebecca, who has married one of her former lovers, Manuel.  Becky soon realises that the marriage is likely to be a disaster when Manuel offers to rekindle their former relationship.  One night, Manuel is killed...
