In 1889, mounted on his little grey horse, Dimitri leaves the banks of the River Amur in the east of the Russsian Empire.  After numerous adventures, Dimitri and his faithful horse arrive at the court of the Tsars in Saint Petersburg, having travelled nine thousand kilometres in less than 200 days...
