Film Synopsis

A policeman, Léo Fardier, manages to infiltrate the gang of the mobster boss Mariani, by posing as an a former inmate of the prison where the gang leader is currently serving a sentence.  Eliane, Mariani's wife, leads the gang in her husband's absence.   When she falls in love with Fardier, Jo, one of her killers, becomes madly jealous and starts feeding information to Menard, the boss of a rival gang.  When Menard fails to act, Jo kills his wife and pins the murder on Fardier...
