Film Synopsis
On the eve of her execution, Nancy Mannigoe, the nurse of the daughter
of the governor of the state of Mississippi, tells her father why she
was driven to kill the child of Temple and Gowan. Several years
before, Temple was kidnapped by a bandit named Candy and the two grew
attached to one another. When, some time later, Candy returned,
Nancy killed the child to prevent her mother from leaving with
him.
