Sacrés gendarmes (1980)
Directed by Bernard Launois

Comedy

Film Synopsis

In 1968, a small village in the south of France basks in tranquillity, knowing nothing of the tumultuous events taking place in the rest of the country.  But this haven of peace is threatened when the Minister of the Interior announces that small regional police stations across the country are to be closed down.  Determined not to lose their jobs, the local cops set out to prove their worth, perhaps a little too zealously...
