Film Synopsis

In 1930, the inmates of a prison on the island of Noronha in Brazil stage an uprising.  Frédéric Coulibaud, who runs the radio station for the air postal service, tries to prevent them from reaching an area on the island where the governor and his daughter have taken refuge.  Once they have repaired the radio, Coulibaud and his colleagues are able to guide an experimental flight in the south Atlantic.
