Rio Sex Comedy (2011)
Directed by Jonathan Nossiter

Comedy

Film Synopsis

Is it possible to reconcile personal happiness with social justice?  This is what a handful of strangers set out to discover when they arrive in Brazil.  First there is a British cosmetic surgeon, who appears determined to put off anyone wanting to avail himself of her services.  Then there is a French anthropologist whose libidinous escapades conflict with her political conscience.   There is also an American ambassador, who shirks his responsibilities by hiding out in one of Rio's most dangerous shanty towns, where he allies himself with Fisher Stevens, a crooked tourist guide...
