Film Synopsis

François is 21 years old and lives in a small country that has just been annexed by Nazi Germany.  His father, a Fascist collaborator, forces him to attend a German university.  But, disgusted by the place that teaches racial hatred, François goes against his father's wishes and leaves the university.  He must now choose between going off to fight against the Allies on the Russian Front, or else working in a mine for months on end without seeing sunlight...
