Film Synopsis

Ramuntcho is a Basque young man who earns his living as a smuggler.  Having been caught by customs men, he is forced to go and fight in Indochina.  Five years later, Ramuntcho returns to his home country hopeful that he can now marry his beloved Gracieuse.  Believing that she had lost Ramuntcho for good when he went off to the war, Gracieuse joined a convent...
