Qui sait? (1999)
Directed by Nicolas Philibert

Documentary

Film Synopsis

On the premises of their school, a group of dedicated young drama students meet up with the intention of putting together a show in honour of the city of Strasbourg.  Straight away, the students find themselves up against innumerable problems, the first being to agree on the story they are going to tell.  Creating a stage production from scratch requires imagination, discipline and, for such a lively group of individuals, a willingness to work together and share ideas.  Each has his or her own notion of what the show should be about, but can they somehow find a way to pull all of these ideas together into a coherent work of art, or is the project destined to end in failure, a reflection of a society that is riven by conflicting views?  Time is fast running out for the students...
