Film Synopsis

The Guilby-Lacourts constitute a mixed family of the kind that is typical of our times.  Comprising a father, stepmother, brother, sister, sister-in-law and uncle-by-marriage, they make an odd assortment and don't always find it easy to see eye to eye.  One evening, they learn of the death of a grandfather whom they haven't seen for ten years.  What they must now endure is the unbearably long journey to attend the deceased relative's funeral.  Within the confined space of the family car they have no choice but to learn to get along, come what may...
