Film Synopsis

With his fiftieth birthday just over the horizon, Raphaël finds himself in the fierce grip of a mid-life crisis and is completely at a loss as to what he should do with his life.  His friends Alain and Patrick are in a similar predicament.  The one is well on the road to becoming a fully fledged neurotic, the other is just waking up to the fact that he cannot go on living his life like an irresponsible teenager.  In the hope of recapturing something of their lost youth and escaping from their present impasse, the three friends agree to go on a yachting trip together.  The only problem is that none of them has much practical experience of sailing and their little expedition very nearly ends in disaster.  Things start to look up when they come across three young women who agree to come aboard their vessel for a lark.  Will the yacht now make it safely back to shore or will it capsize and drown everyone on board?   Raphaël's existential crisis has found an apt resolution...
