Directed by Arnaud des Pallières

Drama
aka: Orphan

Film Synopsis

Little Kiki's idyllic childhood in the countryside comes to a brutal end when an innocent game of hide-and-seek ends in tragedy.  Some years later, Karine is a wayward adolescent who rebels against her strict family by running away from home and indulging in a rapid succession of fleeting romantic encounters.  Sandra is a 20-year-old girl from the provinces who arrives in Paris in search of the happiness that has so far eluded her and courts catastrophe at every turn.  Renée has finally managed to rid herself of her past and is now a woman who has every accomplishment and happiness.  Who would think that these are four portraits of the same remarkable individual...?
