Film Synopsis

After his brother's death, Rod, a young Parisian of Guyanan origin, returns to his home country 18 years after he left it.  He is accompanied on his journey by Gonz, his childhood friend.  During his stay in Cayenne, Rod uncovers a painful family secret which propels him into a search for the truth.  He meets Yann, an ecologically aware tourist guide who actively campaigns against illegal gold mining.  Rod and his two friends soon find themselves caught up in a dangerous adventure, in which they confront desperate prospectors in the heart of the Amazon rainforest...
