Film Synopsis

The day after his father's death, Sal Paradise, a trainee writer in New York, meets Dean Moriarty, a charming young ex-convict who is married to the liberated and highly seductive Marylou.  As soon as they meet, Sal and Dean become inseparable.  Having reached a mutual agreement not to remain trapped in their present humdrum lives, the two men sever their ties and take to the road with Marylou.  Driven by a thirst for freedom, the three young people set out to discover the world, others and themselves...
