Film Synopsis
On the train from Brussels to Moscow, three men, who haven't met
before, get to know one another through a reading of Dostoyevsky's The
Idiot. They are Benoît, Charles and
Jérôme. Once in Moscow, they go their separate ways
but promise to meet up again one day. A fortnight later, the
three men find themselves together for a second time, in an old hotel
from the Soviet era. Two friends, Héloïse and
Benjamin, join them for an impromptu party. Benoît
slips away to visit an old friend, Naoum, who reads some pages from The
Idiot to him. After a final conversation with Charles,
Benoît, announces his decision to return to Paris...
