Film Synopsis

Ossorio, a former surgeon, returns to his home town after a long absence.  Since he left for the front, everything has changed.  The town is occupied by an army and the population are desperate to escape.  The only way out is by boat, but the tickets are too expensive for most ordinary people.  Ossorio makes his way through the war-ravaged town, looking for his partner.  It is a desperate and distressing quest...
