Film Synopsis

Owing to an unexpected clause in his uncle's testament, Narcisse Pigeon is obliged to obtain a pilot's licence if he is to inherit a fortune.  Even though he has no interest or aptitude for flying, the naive Narcisse allows himself to be persuaded by his family into training as a pilot.  By a quirk of fate he ends up in a military camp where his is mistaken for an airman.  A series of happy accidents leads him to earn the promotion he needs to win his inheritance and also the love of Rosine, a pretty canteen worker.
