Film Synopsis

Victoria, a black girl from a humble background, has never forgotten the night she once spent with a well-heeled family in Paris, at the home of little Thomas.  Many years later, she encounters Thomas again.  Their brief liaison results in the birth of a little girl, Marie, but it is seven years before Victoria reveals this fact to Thomas and his family.  The latter are easily won over by Marie's charms and offer to accommodate her on a regular basis.  Victoria gradually realises the consequences of this apparent generosity...
