Film Synopsis

Jess and Milly have been the best of friends since they first met in primary school.  They remain on the closest of terms, even after they have married.  Milly is wed to Kit, a rocker, whilst Jess paired up with Jago.  It is a dark day when Milly is diagnosed with a potentially life-threatening cancer.  Naturally, she confides this news in her friend, who offers her as much support as she can as Milly embarks on a course of chemotherapy.  It is now that Jess finally manages to get herself pregnant, after years of trying.  How awful it is that, on the very night that Jess discovers she is at last going to have a baby, Milly learns that she must undergo a double mastectomy.  Somehow the women's close bond of friendship will see them through this double ordeal...
