Crime / Drama

Film Synopsis

In 1960, a good-natured Italian family are happily settled in a district of Sète.  Mima is 12 and, on the threshold of adolescence, finds it difficult to put with her authoritarian mother.  It is only with her grandfather that she feels at ease, a man who demands respect from others in the area, except the young.  One evening, the old man is murdered.  Mima is the only person who saw him being lured into a trap, but she is afraid to speak.  The police inspector who takes charge of the investigation tries to convince Mima's family that the murderer must be brought to justice.  Mima realises that her grandfather was the victim of a clan feud dating back many years, one that will determine the fate of herself and her younger sister...
