Ma révolution (2016)
Directed by Ramzi Ben Sliman

Drama

Film Synopsis

The Arab spring has made the headlines in Paris, but 14-year-old Marwann is more interested in the usual problems of a typical boy of his age - namely how to be popular amongst his peers, how to evade his parents' ever-watchful gaze, and how to draw the attention of Sygrid, the pretty girl he has fallen for.  A page one article in a French newspaper gives Marwann all the kudos he could possibly have hoped for.  Apparently, he has been singled out as a symbol of the Tunisian revolution, and he is quick to exploit his new-found celebrity.  As he pursues Sygrid he begins to take more of an interest in his Arab roots...
