Les Surdoués de la première compagnie (1981)
Directed by Michel Gérard

Comedy

Film Synopsis

A fresh contingent of virgin soldiers has just arrived at the military barracks commanded by the famous Colonel Boussardon - and what a shockingly undisciplined bunch they turn out to be.  The unsuspecting young conscripts are in for a treat as they are put through their paces by the intimidating Chief Adjutant Colin.  None of them has much, if any, interest in the military side of army life.   In fact, the only thing that does seem to interest them is the fair sex, and there is surprisingly plenty of that to be had, even when you're in the army.  For one of these rookie soldiers, Benoît, convincing others of the virtues of mixed sex barracks becomes an overriding preoccupation, if not an obsession.  Making love is so much more gratifying than making war...
