Metz, 1959.  Michel and Hélène would appear to be an exemplary couple.  He is a respectable provincial notary; she divides her time between her charity work and their son's education.  The only thing that appears to be amiss is the fact that every weekend, Michel departs for his second home.  Here, he becomes Mylène. for the benefit of Flavia, a transvestite and old friend...
