Film Synopsis

Marie and Eric are a couple in their thirties who have been together since high school.  They are about to buy their first apartment when Marie has second thoughts and falls for another man, a handsome, dark haired stranger.  Acting on impulse, Marie leaves Eric and hurls herself into a more liberated and individualistic mode of existence, where anything seems to be possible.  But Marie soon realises that her new life has its downside.  To be a single woman at her age is regarded with suspicion by most people.  Thanks to her new friendships, Marie discovers a new lease of life and has a better chance of finding the happiness she seeks...
