Film Synopsis

For forty years, Maguy has been making goats' cheese on her solitary plateau in the Verdon gorges, respecting both nature and her animals.  As she approaches retirement, she realises she must give up her herd.  To that end, she takes under her wing Anne-Sophie, a young farmer who is keen to follow in her footsteps.  What is a difficult apprenticeship for one proves to be a painful process of letting go for the other...
