Cal Zimmerman, a scientist, is questioned about an experiment he undertook two years ago.  At this time, Abel, a man preoccupied with his work in a scientific research laboratory, suddenly lost his wife and his only daughter.  He is in mourning when, one day, he encounters a child who is the exact image of his daughter...
