Film Synopsis

Daniel, a nightclub singer, marries Christiane, a cashier in a hotel in Paris, and the couple have a son, Pierrot.  Despite their willingness to live a decent life, Daniel and Christiane fall in with bad company.  Daniel ends up running a gambling den frequented by hoodlums and Christiane attracts the attention of a crook named Mario.  The couple lose custody of their son and Daniel is arrested, along with his associates.  Justice prevails in the end, and Daniel is acquitted and reunited with his wife and son.
